The face of the University of Iowa Faculty Senate is changing.
At its Tuesday meeting, the Senate elected a new vice president and secretary.
UI law Professor Christina Bohannon will serve as the new vice president in a three-year term.
Bohannon replaced former Vice President Alexandra Thomas, a UI associate professor of internal medicine. Thomas will now serve as the president of the Senate, replacing Erika Lawrence, a UI associate professor of psychology, who will now serve as a past president.
The new secretary is UI health management and policy associate Professor Thomas Vaughn. He will replace former secretary and UI philosophy Associate Professor David Cunning.
