The Iowa softball team got some help by way of the long ball on Sunday in Bloomington, Ind.
Dingers from Megan Blank and Erin Erickson, along with a complete game, led the Hawkeyes to a 3-2 win over the Hoosiers in the series finale. Leadoff hitter Brianna Luna knocked two hits, and Blank added a double to go along with her home run.
Kayla Massey allowed 8 hits, walked 1, struck out 4, and allowed 2 earned runs. The win moves her to 9-14 on the year. Iowa is 15-26-1 on the season, 8-12 in the Big Ten
