Iowa women’s basketball junior point guard Samantha Logic has been named an honorable mention All-American by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
Logic, who was named an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press last week, is the first Hawkeye to earn the All-American honors since Kachine Alexander did it in 2010 and 2011.
The Racine, Wis., native was a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection after leading the conference in assists and guiding the Hawkeyes to a berth in their seventh-straight NCAA Tournament. Her 269 assists were a program record and the fourth-best season assist total in Big Ten history.
