Authorities have accused an area man of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Rodney Larios, 54, was charged March 22 with third-offense OWI and driving with a denied or revoked license.
According to a Coralville police complaint, Larios was initially stopped for driving with a revoked license. Upon contact, officers reportedly noted Larios had slurred speech and bloodshot, watery eyes.
Larios license was revoked after a previous OWI charge. He had two prior OWI convictions, on Nov. 23, 2005, and March 11, 2013.
Third-offense OWI is a Class-D felony. Driving with a denied or revoked license is a serious misdemeanor.
