The University of Iowa Council on the Status of Women is seeking new members.

The council allows students to address education and professional issues that are relevant to women. Membership is open to faculty, merit employees, undergraduates, physicians and surgeons, and graduate and professional students.

Terms for the new members will begin in August.

Members of the university community can nominate women or they could nominate themselves. Nomination deadline is at 4 p.m. Friday.
