The Iowa City City Council voted Thursday to set a public meeting for the City Hall Police and Fire Department heating, ventilation, and air conditioning replacement project.

The project — which will cost an estimated $147,000 — will replace two aging units serving the first and second levels of the Police Department and the second level of the Fire Department.

The public-input meeting was set for Feb. 18.
