A local man has been accused of being involved in a theft.
Levi Painter, 20, 1218 E. Second St., was charged on Wednesday with second-degree theft.
According to a police complaint, the defendant was seen on video standing as lookout as a codefendant allegedly reached into a truck and took 250 feet of welding lead.
The welding lead had a value of $1,500, the complaint said.
Second-degree theft is a Class-B felony.
