A North Liberty woman has been accused of altering a renter’s check.
Jordan Leu, 24, North Liberty, was charged Sept. 3, 2013, with forgery.
According to a North Liberty police complaint, Leu altered the writing of the person without permission. Leu allegedly changed the amount of the person’s rent check by a $200 increase.
Leu deposited the check into her own account, the complaint said.
Forgery is a Class-D felony.
