An Iowa City woman has been accused of driving while intoxicated for the third time.
Mary Bobotaylor, 49, was charged Dec. 3 with third-offense OWI.
According to an Iowa City police complaint, officers responded to a personal-injury motor-vehicle collision.
Bobotaylor was operating a gold 1994 Saturn when she lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, colliding with a concrete sign, the police complaint said.
She reportedly had a blood-alcohol content of .148 and consented to a blood test at the hospital, which had a result of .164 blood-alcohol content.
Bobotaylor has two previous OWI convictions, April 5, 2011, and Dec. 16, 2011.
Third-offense OWI is a Class-D felony.
