The demolition of the University of Iowa Art Building and the Hancher/Voxman/Clapp complex have been pushed back.
According to the state Board of Regents information packet, the substantial completion date for the demolition of the Art Building has been pushed back to February 2014 instead of the previous estimated date of December 2013.
The substantial completion date for the Hancher/Voxman/Clapp complex has also been pushed back to February 2014 instead of January 2014.
The to-date costs of flood recovery has also increased $7,116,00, which as of Oct. 31 is a total of $266,843,300.
The regents will discuss the UI’s flood-recovery update among other business at its Dec. 4 meeting.
