Iowa redshirt junior Abby Grilli was named Diver of the Week, according to the Big Ten on Tuesday. She posted first- and third-place finishes in dual victories over Nebraska and South Dakota State on Nov. 15, the release said.

This honor is the first of her career. In the 1-meter springboard, the redshirt junior finished with a final score of 285.60 and finished third in the 3 meter with a score of 310.95.

Grilli was the first Hawkeye to earn the Diver of the Week honor since Joelle Christy on Jan. 22, according to a release.

The Hawkeyes will return to action on Dec. 6-8, when they will host the Hawkeye Invitational in the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center pool.
