Two new people were announced to fill the City Manager assistant manager’s role yesterday.

Simon Andrew will fill the position of Administrative Analyst for the City of Iowa City. The position, previously called Administrative Assistant to the City Manager, was filled by Adam Bentley.

Bentley left the position to become Assistant City Manager in Manhattan, Kansas.

Andrew was a graduate of the University of Iowa with an undergraduate degree in political science, and a masters degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Public Policy. Andrew is currently a Budget Management Analyst in the Finance Department for the City of Iowa City.

Asha Adhikari will also join the city office as a Management Intern. She has been with the city office since Nov. 12.
