An Ottawa, Ill., woman has been accused of driving while intoxicated.

Lindsay Hellman, 29, was charged Oct. 31 with third-offense OWI.

According to an Iowa City police complaint, Hellman was reported to authorities as possibly being a drunk driver. An officer responded and reportedly found her driving on the wrong side of the road.

After being stopped, Hellman admitted to drinking and had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. All sobriety tests showed measurable impairment.

Hellman was previous charges occurred on March 2, 2006, and Jan. 15, 2009.

Third-offense OWI is a Class-D felony.
