The Iowa women’s tennis team is sending four of its team members to Norman, Okla., this week to compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Championships.
Morven McCulloch, Ruth Seaborne, Katie Zordani, and Shelby Talcott will represent Iowa as one of 21 schools, including Minnesota and Nebraska.
“This is another great opportunity for us to compete against top teams, this time in our region,” Iowa head coach Katie Dougherty said in a release. “The team has had two good weeks of preparation since the Yale tournament, and we’ve seen a lot of improvement. I look forward to watching that translate in quality matches and putting ourselves in a position to be successful.”
McCulloch and Zordani compete in the singles qualifying brackets starting at 8 a.m. today.
