The Iowa City City Council will likely move forward with plans for the Moss Green Urban Village project.

The city councilors will consider approval of an amendment to the project on July 23. Amendment 1 to the urban-renewal plan includes the construction of Moss Ridge Road from Highway 1 west to the eastern boundary of the Moss Green Development Corporation property, as well as the installation of traffic-control improvements at the planned intersection with Highway 1.

The City Council will hold a public hearing at its next meeting, July 23, and consider a resolution approving the amendment.
