A Coralville man has been charged after officers responded to his residence in reference to a suicidal man.
Martel Horton, 27, was charged with interference with official acts causing bodily injury on Monday.
According to a Coralville police complaint, Horton became agitated and elbowed an officer in the nose as they attempted to calm him down. The officers ordered Horton to calm down. The officer sustained a cut on his left arm, the complaint said.
Interference with officials acts causing bodily injury is an aggravated misdemeanor.
