A Coralville man has been arrested after allegedly being found with approximately seven grams of marijuana.

Kcee Young, 30, was charged March 1 with a controlled-substance violation.

Coralville police offiicers were conducting a traffic stop on Young’s vehicle because it reportedly had a broken light. When a police official stood next to the driver’s window, he allegedly smelled the odor of marijuana.

Young reportedly admitted to having marijuana and handed three individually wrapped bags of marijuana to the police offiicer. After a search using a K9, police officials reportedly located 14 more individually wrapped bags of marijuana in the dashboard. The total weight of marijuana was approximately 7 grams.

A controlled-substance violation is a Class-D felony.
