A Coralville man was charged after allegedly smoking cannabis out of a toilet-paper roll.
Scott Bohnenkamp, 46, was accused Feb. 19 with possession of controlled substance and possessing contraband in a correctional facility.
During a residential room check at the Hope House, officials allegedly found Bohnenkamp smoking cannabis out of a modified toilet-paper roll. Bohnenkamp reportedly provided the rest of the substance to the residential officer, which Bohnenkamp had on in a plastic bag, a police complaint said. Bohnenkamp reportedly admitted to smoking the substance to get high.
Possession of controlled substance is a serious misdemeanor. Possessing contraband in a correctional facility is Class-D felony.
