The Iowa softball team continues their season in the Lovelace Invite this weekend.
The Hawkeyes begin today’s action in Denton, Texas at 9 a.m. against Dayton, and then again at 2 p.m. against Oklahoma State. They’ll play two more games tomorrow against Nebraska-Omaha at 2 p.m. and North Texas at 4:30 p.m.
The Black and Gold will wrap up their second-straight trip down south with a Sunday game against the Pokes at 11:30 a.m.
The last time Iowa played Oklahoma State was on March 3, 2012. The Hawkeyes came away with a 5-3 victory over the then-23rd-ranked Pokes.
All times are central, and every game will be played at North Texas’ Lovelace Stadium.
The Hawkeyes began their 2013 softball campaign last weekend with a 3-2 record in Houston, Texas at the Hilton Houston Plaza Classic. Iowa posted a 3-2 record — included was a 13-10 victory over then-No. 11 Louisiana-Lafayette.
