The public is invited to view and discuss the unveiling of Iowa City’s proposed Downtown District and Riverfront Crossings draft plan on Oct. 1.
The event will begin at 5:15 p.m. at 410 E. Washington St. in the Emma Harvat Hall in City Hall.
The proposed plan aims to preserve the current downtown Iowa City and Riverfront Crossings area. It will also address new opportunities for development in downtown Iowa City.
The event is “a plan for sustainable urban development in Iowa City,” according to a city press release.
