A local man was charged Sept. 17 after he allegedly provided one pound of marijuana to a confidential source for police.
According to a series of Iowa City police complaints, Daylin Lloyd, 26, was charged following a June 18 drug transaction conducted by the Johnson County Drug Task Force in which a confidential source met Lloyd and obtained, on credit, one pound of marijuana. The complaints said the marijuana was tested by police and confirmed to be marijuana, weighing a total of 444 grams.
Lloyd is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and failure to affix a tax stamp to a taxable substance, both Class-D felonies.
