Members of the state Board of Regents discussed the possibility of a building a childcare facility on the University of Iowa Hawkeye Campus Wednesday.

The facility would potentially be built by a third-party childcare vendor along Hawkeye Park Road adjacent to the Hawkeye commuter parking lot.

The University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics have several houses on lots that have been leased to independent childcare dfacilities that serve the UI and the public, and a number of years ago, the hospital leased childcare facilities exclusively for hospitals.
