Law-enforcement officials have accused an Iowa City man of attempting to sell marijuana.
Jack Champlin, 22, 702 N. Van Buren St., was charged Wednesday with a controlled-substance violation and a tax-stamp violation.
According to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office complaint, Champlin allegedly possessed a pound of marijuana. The package containers of marijuana did not have the appropriate tax stamps.
Controlled-substance violations and tax-stamp violations are Class-D felonies.
