The Iowa women’s basketball team’s game against Illinois on Feb. 14 has been dubbed “Go Red For Women Day.” The national movement encourages heart health among women.
MidWestOne Bank has also purchased 800 tickets for the contest, which will be free to fans. Those interested in picking up complimentary tickets can stop by any MidWestOne bank location while supplies last.
The Hawkeyes also held a “Pink Zone” game on Sunday to raise awareness for breast cancer. Iowa downed Michigan State, 77-66, in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Tip-off for the game against the Fighting Illini is scheduled for 2 p.m.
