Warrant out for the arrest of an Iowa City man for sexually abusing 3-year-old

A warrant is out for the arrest of an Iowa City man for sexually abusing a child.

Andrew Harrison, 49, 2481 Lakeside Drive, is suspected of second-offense second-degree sexual abuse.

According to the warrant, Harrison was babysitting a three-year-old child. The child reported to her mother that Harrison had licked her genitals. The child was taken to the hospital, where Harrison’s DNA was found on her underwear and body.

Harrison has a previous conviction for Lascivious Acts with a Child in Polk County, Iowa.

Second-offense second-degree sexual abuse is a Class-A felony.
