Bellwood man found with 14 bundles of marijuana

A Bellwood man has been accused of resisting arrest and possessing marijuana.

Stevie Moore, 38, was charged March 13 with interference with official acts and a controlled substance violation.

According to the arrest affidavit, Moore was stopped by officers while he was walking and was advised that he had a warrant for his arrest. Moore then led officers on a foot chase.

Once apprehended, police found 14 bundles of marijuana and bundles of an unknown white, powdery substance.

A controlled substance violation is a Class-D felony.
