The Gophers combated with back to back victories with Minnesota’s Vance VomBaur defeating Iowa’s Nasir Bailey by 10-1 decision and Drew Roberts upset against Iowa’s Ryder Block by 4-2 decision.

Iowa’s Ben Kueter concluded the dual with a 5-2 decision against Minnesota’s Koy Hopke. Kueter started the match with an early single leg takedown against Hopke, receiving over two minutes of riding time before the Minnesota heavyweight’s escaped to bump up the score to 3-1 in favor of the Hawkeye. Kueter, with an escape at the begging of the second quarter and riding time in the third period, secured the victory 5-2.
