The Hawkeyes defeated the Badgers 37-0 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday night. Iowa retains the Heartland Trophy for another year.
This is the first time, since 1929, where Iowa shut out Wisconsin at Camp Randall. The Hawkeyes defense kept the Badgers from scoring, and even earned them three turnovers. Defensive back Zach Lutmer recovered a fumble, while defensive linemen Aaron Graves and Bryce Hawthorne recorded interceptions.
Iowa plays against Penn State next week at Kinnick Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CST.
