The Iowa women’s golf team hosted the first two rounds of the Diane Thomason Invitational at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025.
The first day of the 54-hole tournament began at 8:30 a.m. on Monday with a shotgun start. The Hawkeyes hosted a total of 15 other teams; Montana State arriving in first after the second round with a team total of eight over par. The University of Iowa came in second with a score of thirteen over par, led by Maura Peters with an individual score of two over par.
Iowa’s next tournament is in Hutchinson, Kansas, on for the Prairie Dunes Invitational on October 6-7.
