Community members gather to celebrate Eid-al-Fitr at the Robert A. Lee Community Recreation Center in Iowa City on Wednesday.
Members brought homemade dishes, pizza, and beverages to celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan and break the fasting season together.
Roughly 50 people attended the event which began at noon, lasting for four hours. This is one of the many community celebrations of Eid in the Iowa City area.
