Iowa Rep. Heather Hora, R-Washington, announced her bid for reelection on Tuesday.

If reelected, it would be Hora’s second term representing Iowa House District 92, which includes all of Washington County and most of southern Johnson County.

“I am proud of the work I have been part of during my time here. It is an honor to get to represent House District 92 and the State as a whole,” Hora said in a news release. “I look forward to continuing this work in the Iowa House.”

Hora currently serves as the vice chair of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee and as a member of the Agriculture, Education, Natural Resources, and Veterans Affairs committees.

“Representative Hora is a committed member of the Iowa Legislature,” said Iowa House Speaker Pat Grassley, R-New Hartford, in a news release. “I look forward to continuing to work with her to move Iowa forward.”
