The Northern Iowa defeated Iowa, 4-2, at Bob Pearl Softball Field in Iowa City on Wednesday afternoon. Iowa’s record is now, 30-23.

Both the University of Northern Iowa and Iowa had 7 hits each. The Panthers led in strikeouts, 3-2.

Iowa will face the Wisconsin Badgers in Madison, Wis., on Friday, May 5, at 6:30 p.m.
