Chicago man charged with dominion of a firearm by a felon

A Chicago man was charged with dominion of a firearm by a felon.

Isiah Terrance Johnson, 29, was charged Oct. 18 with operating while under the influence, first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, dominion of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a controlled substance. 

According to the arrest affidavit, Johnson was driving over 100 miles per hour and made several reckless turns. When the police finally pulled Johnson over, officers found alcohol, marijuana, and a loaded handgun in the car. 

Dominion of a firearm by a felon is a Class D felony.
