A Coralville man has been accused of robbing a bank.

Aquinas Jackson, 29, was charged March 4 with second-degree robbery.

According to the arrest affidavit, Jackson entered the bank and produced a note, stating that he had a gun. He demanded money, and the teller complied.

Jackson was seen exiting a vehicle about a mile away from the bank a few minutes after the robbery, the affidavit said. He was positively identified by the bank teller and matched the clothing and physical description given by the bank employees.

When officers searched Jackson, they recovered cash in the approximate amount of what was stolen and the note given to the bank teller.

Second-degree robbery is a Class-C felony.
