Actors perform John Cariani’s “Almost, Maine” in a dress rehearsal at Iowa City Community Theatre on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019. The play tells the stories of residents of a fictional community called Almost, Maine. Each scene is to be interpreted as though it were happening at the same moment in time as the others. The cast of 10 portray over 21 characters, each actor performing two to three roles. The show, directed by Nate Sullivan, will be performed at Iowa City Community Theatre at the Johnson County Fairgrounds Dec. 6-8 and 13-15.
