Illinois man accused of causing damages to $4,000 door

Authorities have accused an Illinois man of causing thousands of dollars in damage while intoxicated.

Jason Grabiec, 33, was charged on Oct. 28 with second-degree criminal mischief and public intoxication.

According to an arrest affidavit, Grabiec was seen kicking in the glass door of a commercial property. The door was valued at $4,000. Grabiec reportedly smelled of alcohol, exhibited slurred speech, and didn’t know where he was.

Second-degree criminal mischief is a Class-D felony.
