Authorities have accused a North Liberty man of criminal mischief.

Davon Bell, 21, was charged on Oct. 12 with assault, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and second-degree criminal mischief.

According to the arrest affidavit, Bell pounded on and kicked the door of an apartment to the point that the door broke in an attempt to make contact with a female resident.

When confronted by residents of the apartment, Bell began to push them. The female then tried to intervene but was pushed by Bell, breaking her phone and her prescription glasses.

Second-degree criminal mischief is a Class-D felony.
