Warrant out for an Iowa City woman for forging a $368 check

Authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of an Iowa City woman, accusing her of forging checks.

Kimberly Reimers, 39, 1331 Sun Down Ridge, has bee charged with forgery.

According to the arrest affidavit, a stolen check was cashed at the Wells Fargo counter in a K-Mart in Iowa City. It was written out to Reimers for the amount of $368.

Reimers said she received the check not knowing it was stolen, the affidavit said.

Forgery is a Class-D felony.
