Authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of a Coralville woman on a robbery charge.
Mariah Arneson, 21, is suspected of first-degree robbery occurring on Dec. 26, 2017.
According to the affidavit, Arneson knocked on a victim’s door, and the victim asked who was there. After Arneson identified herself, the affidavit said, the victim opened the door, because they are friends.
After the victim opened the door, the affidavit said, he saw Arneson with three others, all wearing masks. One person grabbed the victim by his throat and made him go down to the floor, het affidavit said. The person also hit the victim on the head with a handgun, the affidavit said.
The victim’s son, who is 11 years old, was also dragged to the floor, the affidavit said.
The group demanded money from the victim, the affidavit said, and they took cash and other objects with them.
First-degree robbery is a Class-B felony.
