Iowa women’s basketball player Kathryn Reynolds has been nominated for the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Allstate Good Works Team.

“Kathryn is very deserving of this nomination,” head coach Lisa Bluder said in a press release. “She exemplifies what it means to be a student-athlete at the University of Iowa and for our basketball program.”

The award goes to a select group of college basketball student-athletes who have made contributions to their communities through volunteering and civic service.

Reynolds was one of the 84 nominees for the award. In six games this season, the redshirt sophomore has averaged 2.8 points per game.
