Illustrator, voice actor, comedian, and rapper MC Chris will bring his unique “nerdcore” style of rap to Gabe’s on Saturday.

A native of Illinois, MC Chris started his career illustrating for “Adult Swim” shows such as “Sealab 2021” and “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” before pursuing a career in rap music. MC Chris raps in the hip-hop subgenre “nerdcore,” which focuses on popular culture such as Harry Potter and Star Wars.

The Revenge of the Nerds 2 tour also features Dr. Awkward, Jesse Dangerously, and Tribe One. Doors to the show will open at 8 p.m., and the show will begin at 9 p.m. The event is restricted to persons ages 19 and older; tickets may be purchased for $15 at the door or online at www.icgabes.com.
