B1G title game tickets available July 27

Tickets for the Big Ten’s 2013 football championship game will go on sale for the general public Saturday at 9 a.m. the conference announced Monday.

Tickets are available for purchase through Ticketmaster, and they will range in price from $50 to $90, depending on seat location. Those interested may also reserve tickets through bigten.teamtix.com, which reserves and guarantees a ticket for a fan from any school, should their team make it.

The winners of the Leaders and Legends Divisions will face off in the matchup for a spot in either the Rose Bowl or national-championship game, depending on rankings. Wisconsin has won the first two Big Ten championship games, defeating Michigan State in 2011 and Nebraska in 2012.

The game, which will be the third annual for the conference, will take place on Dec. 7 in Lucas Oil Stadium, the home of the Indianapolis Colts, and it will be broadcast nationally on Fox. Kickoff is set for 8:17 p.m. EST.
