Man charged after stealing laptop from home

A man has been charged after he allegedly stole a laptop from an Iowa City residence.

According to an Iowa City police complaint, Varnell was at the residence with a coworker and another friend. The friend witnessed Varnell walk out of the apartment with the laptop in his hand around 4:30 p.m.
