The 1,600-meter relay team of sophomore Kaleb VanCleave, freshman Neil Flattery, and seniors Keaton Rickels and Ryan Weir earned second place at 3:14.16, and Flattery earned fourth in the 800 meters with his time of 1:53.56, a personal best.

The team also recorded numerous first-place finishes. Holmes earned first in the 200 meters with a time of 21.67. Freshman Klyvens Delaunay earned first place in the triple jump at 48-8, and sophomore Gabe Hull took first place in the shot put with a mark of 54-3¾.

“I think we had a lot of solid performances,” head coach Larry Wieczorek said in a release. “It was a step forward for both the men and women. I think this meet definitely prepared us well for the Musco Twilight next weekend."
