The state Board of Regents voted unanimously Wednesday during a closed session of their meeting to uphold the University of Iowa’s firing of Malik Juweid.
UI officials fired Juweid, a former tenured member of the Radiology Department, on Aug. 23. He had been a member of the department since Oct. 15, 2000, but was suspended on findings of disruptive behavior in the workplace.
