A Cedar Rapids woman was charged with prostitution Tuesday after allegedly agreeing to perform sex acts in exchange for money, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Debra Vosshell, 37, was charged with the aggravated misdemeanor after meeting an undercover officer at an agreed-upon location, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
She was being held at the Johnson County Jail on $5,000 cash-only bond Wednesday.
While conducting the prostitution investigation, officers initially contacted a woman in Cedar Rapids who agreed to send a “young girl” to a motel to meet an undercover officer posing as a “John.”
