DI: What does it mean to you to be a Hawkeye?

More opportunities and less restrictions.

DI: What are you most excited about this year?

Well, my goal is to become a doctor, so it’s a good first step. And yeah, so that’s mostly what I’m most excited for.

DI: What brings you to the University of Iowa specifically?

I just heard a lot of great reviews. And a lot of my friends, family friends came here and they loved it. So I just want see what they saw.

DI: How is Iowa City different than your hometown?

It’s a lot bigger. There’s a lot more people and they’re really, really nice, so I’m not really that afraid to speak to everyone to get to really know the place, so I like it here.
