Iowa women’s basketball hosted the #8 Maryland Terrapins on January 5. The outside temperatures were frigid, but it didn’t keep the fans away as they packed Carver-Hawkeye Arena to help honor Lisa Bluder and try to power the Hawkeyes to a victory. The Hawkeyes nearly battled back from a 21-point deficit at halftime, but couldn’t quite pull out the comeback, losing 66-74.
