A Transgender Solidarity March was held in Iowa City on Friday.
The march was in response to the recent charges against nine protestors, according to protest flyers, protesting conservative speaker Chloe Cole on Oct. 16.
The march began at the steps of the Old Capitol and around 6:30, and protestors made their way around downtown Iowa City, stopping at the Johnson County Courthouse and Johnson County Attorney Rachel Zimmerman Smith’s office.Â
