A man has been charged with harassment, assault, and child endangerment.

Carldray Tymaine Tucker, 42, Coralville, was charged on Sept. 10 with four counts of first-degree harassment, two counts of child endangerment, assault while displaying a deadly weapon, control of firearm/weapon by felon, and domestic abuse assault display or use weapon, first offense.

According to the arrest affidavit, police were dispatched to Penn St. and Penn Oaks Dr. to investigate suspicious activity. Officers located the vehicle in question and conducted a traffic stop. Tucker pointed a gun at the driver of the vehicle and at a juvenile in the backseat, threatening to “blow down” several individuals, including the juvenile victim, and mimicked pulling out a handgun from his waistband.

The affidavit said a loaded handgun was found under Tucker’s seat. After further investigation, Tucker had pointed the gun at the driver and juvenile threatening to kill them, therefore placing the juvenile in danger.

Control of a firearm/offensive weapon by a felon is a Class-D felony.
